So that is why BOTH OG XBOX ROCKY games I bought recently don't work in my X360, cos M$ want to encourage those seeking backward compatibility to switch to XBONE AND XBONEX.

I am sick of companies quietly removing features/ deliberately gimping the hardware with software updates and no one says anything about it. Aren't there any laws against this?. I will never update my android phone again. And M$ gimped the volume output of my Windows Phone 7 with the final update.

Can't they just allow for a Mod only lobby, and an official lobby?
And modding single player should be allowed full stop.

I haven't played the game on PC, only on 360 (I feel it was definitely inferior to GTA IV and San Andreas, the city had no personality, humor wasn't funny, story was missing something, gameplay was meh, you die quickly, the choices you made in the heists didn't make much difference, too much scripted set pieces, and the music was for the most part out of date and awful).

But some of the PC mods I have seen on youtube, such as enhanced graphics, real world cars and the mod that allows you to have the GTA IV map across the Sea (I think that's how it works?) are all fantastic additions made by amateur enthusiast's that add value to the game overall. Maybe that is why they want to shut it down... And as for piracy, well I am sure that anyone that wanted to do that would of done it a million times by now, and I doubt this mod team aided in that anyway.

They are going to have a hard time bettering the classics of COD 2, COD 1, MOH Allied Assault and MOH Underground. But I look forward to it non the less, make one huge SP campaign please!!

As for people complaining about the name of this title, well Sumo Digital are based in Sheffield, England. There is a famous picturesque winding mountain pass road that connects Sheffield to Manchester called the A57 "Snake Pass". That is the reason for the name, though yeah it probably isn't all that interesting for those that don't know about the road.

Nice to see more 3D platformers these days, it's surprising Snakes haven't been used more outside of the Nokia games. Hopefully they will successful enough to convince the studios to bring back Jersey Devil, Croc, Busby, Blinx, Gex, Billy Hatcher and make a proper sequel to Crash Bandicoot 3! :)

I predict the NX to = Augmented reality, handheld console combination device with proprietary OS or a deal with Apple/Android for a custom version of their OS and access to their online stores. The ability to install smart phone style app's and games. Plus more Amiibo's, trading cards and Pixar style movies and series using Nintendo IP. We will never see a direct Nintendo competitor to the PS or XB platforms.

I always preferred the Single Player of Medal Of Honor Underground on PS1, so atmospheric and should be remade.
But yeah, Goldeneye multiplayer was very good at the time, but I doubt the rights issues will ever be resolved so might as well forget about it. Timesplitters 2 was an amazing spiritual successor, and why there isn't a Timesplitters 4 on current gen I don't know, it was a very popular franchise.

The whole point of the X1 was Kinect, it failed to gain momentum and now they have just made it as similar to a PS4 as possible. It was obvious a long time ago that no one wanted an external power brick. Other than Forza Horizon 3, there is very little to write home about. Atleast the PS4 has some good exclusives and is focusing on VR more than MS. 4K doesnt even slightly interest me, 1080P is fine. I am still happy with my PS3, X360, Wii and PC. I will get a PS4 if the VR looks promising and Shenmue 3 comes out. MS should of pushed Kinect more, they tend to kill things off if they are not immediately successful. e.g Alan Wake, Windows Phone, Zune, Xbox in Japan...

When social media is combined with augmented reality and virtual reality, this will all be very damaging to people, and we need to tread carefully. Plus it is wrong for people to be driving across the country and burning valuable resources to play a game that has no ending. You will never capture them all, or have enough items, or have enough XP or whatever. I know of Ingress players that flew across the world to create mega fields and capture portals.
