Well I prefer the game lineup, and I've always preferred the XBOX controller by a mile. Friends are another reason, most everyone I know are all on XBOX.
There is no wrong answer though as you can't go wrong with either system!
No, there's so much stock now that there's really no need to. If it's a game I just can't live without, I just go pick it up on my lunch break on launch day. I might pre-order if it's an odd game that stores might not get a lot of copies of though.
Not important at all, If 720p vs 1080p is what you're basing your purchase on then you've got some issues. They're are both going to be great consoles and you can't go wrong either way.
