If you're buying a mouse, get one that's comfortable for you. Sure, the G5 has adjustable weights, but that won't matter if the mouse is too big for you to handle comfortably. If you're looking at the G3, check out a RAZER. I think they're about the same size as a G3.

I'm pretty sure the next stalker game is standalone with a new game engine. It's a full prequal, not an expansion.FPSGunnerDude

Yeah, they're just going to ditch that game engine after working on it for eight years.

There was a survival-horror game for the PS2 that had this function, but I can't remember the name......Parrotman

I remember reading about that...

Get the original so you can play the mods. I don't think they work for Half-Life: Source.

I wouldn't get to excited... there was a great deal of hype (amongst IT professionals) about the Cell processors, like the ones in the PS3, and now... nothing?MindlessTeef

Probably because when when people installed Linux on it, they got the performance of about an 800 MHZ P3.

even with DOSBox I have a tough time getting things to work.PutU2REM

Get D-fend. It adds a nice user interface so you don't have to mess around with DOSBox's command line.

Get a few games with a co-op mode; they are a nice change of pace from regular deathmatch. The mods for Doom 3, Far Cry, and Half-life 1(Sven co-op)/2 (Synergy) are all pretty good.

Just get the one that is most comfortable for you. If you get a Razer but think it's not comfortable, then who cares about performance?
