@ouam844: She was absolutely a victim, and then she went on to victimize others. That's the unfortunate and common narrative for almost all abusers - they were almost all abused themselves at one point. I think the point is that in most cases courts don't give leniency despite the perpetrator having been abused themselves in the past. Of course this is a somewhat different circumstance considering the abuse was ongoing, but should Mack "believing" in the dogma give her a pass?

@ComplexVariable @Rheinmetal If you guys want tomb raider one, then play tomb raider one. Honestly have you guys even played the game? I'm sorry that you two are so protective of a franchise that any deviation gets your panties in a twist, but there is nothing "all-automatic" about this game save for some interactive cut-scenes. This isn't "original" tomb raider for sure, and puzzles have been replaced with more action. But that doesn't take away from the experience. My advice is to relax and actually try to enjoy yourselves.

@radicalreet I consider anything I have to download 'DLC', but maybe im misusing the terminology. In any event, if I want DLC or post-release content, or whatever you want to call it; i'm happy to purchase it. However, im not blind to the shrewd marketing tactics they're using and I'm not one to pat them on the back for it.

@Def_Defyin I'm not angry and you missed the point. My point, is A) there is no such thing as free DLC, and B) that 90% of everything you just mentioned: risk, production costs, advertising, etc. is already sunk into the initial release. DLC builds off of that, but the amount of effort into developing the content is a fraction of what was put into the original release. However, the price doesn't reflect that. As a consumer, I'm not sure why you are defending the publishers on this one since you should be more interested in getting the best value for your dollar. But who knows....

What do you mean "balance between free and paid DLC"? There is no such thing as free DLC; you already paid $60 for it. Paid DLC is only a method publishers are using to turn the initial $60 into $80, $90, or $100+. Take BF3 for example. Almost all the work and investment into the game was already completed by initial release, but they still can milk another $60 out of players through DLC.
