@G-N-C I will probably get snapped at for saying this, but that's not constructive criticism. I realize that you dislike the video but it's always better to try and point out a few things about it that really irk you. If we can put a finger on what's bugging you it might be easier to diagnose in the future.

@axsun19 @conorhat 780Ti confirmed to run Ultra HD 4K resolution at a fraction of the cost of the Titan. It's the next-gen killer.

@axsun19 Yes, and they are trying to make a point: When 4K TVs become standard (1 year from now tops, already some available under $1000) then 1080p will be four times lower the resolution. So in one or two years tops, the PS4 is obsolete. You can buy a PC for around $1000 that will run 4K graphics as well as allowing you to connect to Twitch.TV, YouTube and other streams. You can earn money on a PC with only a little bit of skills and work. Computer graphics design, programming, music production, and much more all at the touch of a finger. There's no point being chained to a system that doesn't even compare to a PC built 2 years ago.

@McGregor You entirely missed my point in favor of an argument over semantics. Regardless, a PC has been and always will be a better gaming device according to this article.

@jarheadalex Contrastly, I am far more interested in framerates because I play games that rely on "twitch" based mechanics like shooters, rts, moba, fighting and racing games. In these games anything under 120 frames per second is noticeable and will have a serious impact on your ability to play the game properly. In this case, 1080p is less important, and as Mark was pointing out, the developers weigh these consideration based on the gameplay, not necessarily what looks the best.

@Trickymaster Sony never said PC wasn't the best platform for gaming, did they? They are just stating the obvious for people without a brain.

@jarheadalex @conorhat I've been on the computer since 1987 and I can assure you that it has always been "better" gaming according to Mark Cerny. 1998 I was using a 3DFX Voodoo2 @ 800x600 (which was the highest resolution you could get at the time, 1080p came shortly after) on a CRT monitor with over 100 frames per second. Speaking of which, 4K resolution is the new 1080p and the "next-gen" systems will struggle to even upscale at that resolution.

Well I guess I've been a better games since around 1998 when I first began playing all my games in 1080p. Thanks Mark, you just made me realize why I should stick with my PC instead of a "next-gen" system, because soon Native 4K resolution in a Virtual Reality headset is going to make a real gamer, and 1080p will be for chumps.

The PS4 wobbles and it's like, uneven on the table or something? Wow, what the heck Sony?
