They banned the episode for being inappropiate? Are they planning to ban the episode where Plankton mentions Uranium bomb and no survivors too? What about the violent karate episodes? Squidward is a depressing character and episodes including him should be banned as well as they could turn someone into a miserable and angry person.
What a joke. Way to scapegoat poor parenting skills towards a harmless show.
@lonewolf1044: Although Xbox and Phil Spencer are trying to focus more on their own studios as of recent, I'm sceptical on how they will handle all of this. Just look how little they handled Sea of Thieves, Crackdown 3 and Halo: Infinite. Their long-term plan is not about quality, it's about quantity and live-service through Game Pass. Their current long-term plan doesn't benefit us gamers.
We need the back-and-forth competition between Sony and Microsoft, but it needs to remain in an equilibrium so we the consumers could benefit.
@Atzenkiller: Yeah people are really missing the bigger picture. Sony's timed-exclusives are a pain indeed, but eventually they become available to everyone with even more content and polish. Buying one of the biggest gaming publisher with all its studios just so they feel they can compete is a much more radical move and an overreaction that does far more damage to the gaming industry. It's just an excuse to buy out everything so they can monopolize games on the Game Pass.
Microsoft/Xbox allowed themselves to be outcompeted by their own trendchasing foolishness for over a decade now. It's none's fault but their own. If they had truly invested in their studios and their own (timed-)exclusives, they wouldn't be groveling on the ground for so long.
@sakaixx: The gambit system is a double-edged dagger. Great system that facilitates strategic combat but at some point makes the combat feel too automatic or hands-off. I never found the right balance to use it and eventually the game got boring.
Story and characters are much worse than FFX though.
