Nothing good was going to come out of it anyways, especially with the writer being woke. The damage she'll do to the beloved characters is reason enough to cancel this remake.

No Man Sky does a lot of things better, even if it's not an RPG.

The really disappointed thing I read in reviews is the multiple copy/paste placement of locations and npc's across different planets. One reviewer even said he got confused thinking he already visited a specific location once, only to encounter the same place 8 more times. Not even No Man Sky algorithm was this poorly done.

@noctis_lucis_caelum: Not really. IMO There hasn't been a proper 9/10 and 10/10 game being released for a long time. Way too many games are overrated these days, and most of the good modern ones I'd give them a 7/10.

@mooglestar: They deserve to quit but Sony will be left with no competition at all. Not ideal for any gamer, not even Playstation fans.

@Hellknite190: Why? a 7/10 is fine and this was honestly to be expected if you've seen the gameplay footages. I don't see the fuss about the score.

@olddadgamer: True. I was 9 when I first happened to watch Star Wars: The Phantom Menace. It included everything I ever wanted from a sci-fi movie and upped my expectations so much that nothing since in the genre has surpassed that standard. Halo and Star Trek felt dull in comparison.

@bthegamer: The reality of the matter is that even the first-party titles have been declining in quality. Hence why I didn't bother with the next-gen consoles this time around. Too much bloat content and deja vu gameplay and too little actual innovation.

@dinamo4ever: Well I think Witcher 3 is a 7/10 as well, especially due to the terrible combat system. Holds the game down despite everything else being excellent (the main story was just ok though).
