The only reason the Wii is selling so hot is because of its price and how appealing it is to the non gamers and kids.
The non gamers and the kids parents would not spend $400-600 for a console, thats why the sales are like this.
PS3=Price of almost 3 Wii's!!! and the 360= the price of almost 2 Wii's.
The PS3/360 are both selling well despite their price. If the Wii was $400 it would be in last place.
The PS3/360 will leave the Wii in the dust, once HD takes place, in about a year or two. The Wii also has no features to even last 3 years. How some people think the Wii sales will not stop is beyond me. The graphics are not even better than Xbox since the Xbox was able to run in HD. Your going to call me a graphics fan, but its also about power. Wouldn't it have been fun to play your Wii games in fully destructable environments?
Nintendo could've made the Wii as strong as the PS3/360 but they knew no one would buy since they lost alot of their fans during the GC era. The non gamers were Nintendo's last attempt. By the way their are more non gamers than gamers.
A non gamer may just play the Wii for 5 min a day just to get a Wii tennis game in. Nintendo does not understand that they are heading into a trap, since most of the non gamers will not buy SSBB,SMG,MP3, and ect.

umm the only reason ppl are buying ps3 is because it is a cheap blu-ray player...not because of it's games....and nintendo is making SSBB, SMG, and MP3 for those who bought a cube and want to play those games on the wii if those were the only games they were making then yes they would be in trouble but the non gamers get other games like wii sports type games....
