They're doing the same vague specifications again. "Foundation" of base building may actually mean that we see nothing of it in the game. They really need to say what is actually in the update rather than saying they're taking the first steps to making the game what it should have been. This announcement means nothing.
Got mine delivered this morning. Still can't install the game or upgrade my standard to the collectors on battle net yet :( The art book is lovely though and the skull has a nice weight to it. Looks a bit silly when you have the soul shard USB sticking out of it though lol
@timmy0001 It looks no more cartoony than D1&2 did (it looks less cartoony in some areas). I'd love for you to explain reused resources and how the art style has resulted in a shorter development time. From where exactly? are you talking about artists as a resource? Complaining about the art style is the same reason certain people complained about the look of WoW. They don't understand that a well crafted, modelled, lit, animated and cohesive world with a fitting style makes something look more attractive than a "trying to look ultra realistic" eye jarring mess.
