Starting off a sentence with "honestly" is to me a good way to say you're making things up as you go. They're really just in place to push things in the direction that will make more money for them. I get it. Money is generally the motivator. And that comparing yourself to FIFA thing is horrible PR. FIFA is a pile or hot garbage.
I love that guerrilla has real physics. I never got why more people didn't like that game. I wish they'd bring back red faction for next gen to see what they could do with that kind of hardware.
I am more excited for this than any shooter since Halo 3. For real. Games that can effectively use physics and solid mechanics are the future. Well, they feel like the future to me. I got this feeling after playing both Bad Company 2, and Red Faction Guerrilla. They have so much more potential still.
I think I've logged more hours in BC2 than any shooter besides Halo 3. Can't wait. I hope EA's hopes for FPS dominance and CoD stuff doesn't influence the direction of BC3. I hope it's what the developers are passionate about making, and not what some guy in a suit thinks gamers want so they can make a bazillion dollars. Just make great games, the sales will follow.
@danten81 @bschroth I still think it's all about sales. On PC there isn't anyone greasing the deal sure, but they also don't have to give a chunk of every copies sold to the hardware maker.
On PC piracy is trivial once someone else cracks it and then it spreads like crazy.
The install base is huge on the current gen so they want to get a ton of sales on there before potentially making a PC and next gen version.
Also, Rockstar has released all previous games in the series, but always months later, and there was no reason to think this game would be any different.
I doubt this petition will do much to change their schedule for a PC version.
If they do make it compatible with all PS Vita games I'd probably get one along with a PS4. I'll get a PS4 anyways, but having this so I could play VIta games on a tv as well as play my ps4 in other rooms of my house would make me happy.
