Thanks, I was really excited when I noticed the username in the press conference. But they never mentioned it on G4. But an open world online play would be really cool.
I don't know if anyone else noticed this, but at the end of the gameplay at the press conference it showed a man standing on a roof watching the main character (i guess that's why it's called Watch Dogs). But the man had a username above his head, then it zooms out to show a map with multiple locations marked by usernames. So is that a hint to an online play that is similair to Red Dead Redemption where its open world multiplayer?
I think that Sony did good, but they could have done better. Playstation needed to do what Microsoft did by showing off their new tech and a couple of their major games, because Ubisoft is making a lot of games for the Playstation3. All that Sony needed to show was their exclusives and their tech. Naughty Dog's The Last of Us looks really cool, and Watch Dogs looks even better. But I can't really comment on Nintendo because G4 didn't show their press conference.
343 looks like they did a great job with Halo 4. And I am really excited about the Smartglass that Microsft revealed, it looks like a lot of fun to be able to keep in touch with my Xbox360 at all times. But I'm worried about Kinect, I don't hear about real gamers using the Kinect in their hardcore games, and I know I wouldn't. All of the systems have turned motion gaming in to a child's toy instead of a valuable gaming asset.
It was too short though. And it's gonna be wierd if they change the lightsabers again, two double sided, one double sided and one normal, two light-whips? I don't know, any of them would be odd.
