I remember when Dark Souls released in Australia. I had never played Demons Souls as an unfortunate xbox owner, so I had no previous experience with the franchise. It released on the same day as Rage. There was alot of hype built around Rage & its graphics and little to no promotion of DS. I went to my local GAME shop (which is now no more) on the first day of release and instead purchased Dark Souls. What a great decision. This game now ranks as one of my most favorite game experiences ever. I'm still playing this game now with over 200hours logged with no signs of slowing. Although the dlc wasn't intended on release, they did a really nice job. I was happy give my money to to this developer and they rewarded me with a great dlc experience.
EB games is overcharging considering the hold it has over the game market in Australia. I think core gamers will search around for a better price but EB is charging a pretty high price for casual gamers that won't look elsewhere. Atm I have pre ordered both Dishonored and XCOM. Dishonored through jbhifi for $69 dollars & XCOM from ozgameshop for $54dollars. The cost of living is high in Australia, I can't afford to drop 80-100 dollars on games anymore, I will continue to look around for the best price.
I don't understand why people are commenting on this saying Ed is terrible. Its obvious its his first playthrough, did you really expect him to be at an advanced level within the first hour? If it pains you so much as a more experienced player to watch this tutorial go spectate a pro game. Nice job Zorine & Ed, be cool if you continue this dairy. & yeah Aus Asians are definitely attractive.
@badtaker They arn't making a fuss about pirated downloads. Initially they were upset & understandably considering the effort & passion put into the game. That was along time ago. They have openly opposed DRM.
CDPR are an awesome dev, who really value fans of the franchise. They have great communication with fans, give free dlc (which they could have easily charged for), free digital copy of TW2 for anyone who purchased it, cheap collectors edition & even a thankyou youtube video from all of the staff at CDR for those who have supported the franchise.
