[QUOTE="braindead_hero"] The vast majority of those cases appear to be directly linked to people not using contraception so as long as a condom is used the risks are greatly reduced. Also in heterosexual vaginal sex there are a whole host of health risks involved if contraception is not usedmagicalclick
Not greatly, but the article does say protection helps.
If I only have one sex partner and he/she don't screw around, would that be any help? I am not sure exactly what HPV disease is. If both of us are clean, it should be fine right? Unless it is some kind of external dirty stuff?
From what can only be described as a couple of minutes on wikipedia it looks like something that can be picked up and treated by STD test and medication, however I would definately want to consult a medical professional and not rely on wikipedia, but getting yourself tested for STD's is usually a good idea anyway even if you don't think anything in particular is wrongAny sexual intercourse be that anal or more conventional methods is physical exercise, which burns calories and as it is aerobic exercise increases lung capacity and strengthen the heart, that applies to everyone involved not just a tiny minority so the health benefits of anal sex surely outweigh the minimal amount of people who are harmed by it[QUOTE="braindead_hero"][QUOTE="Ace_WondersX"] Yea, but smoking has also been said to lower stress levels, so it has it's benefits too. Anyway feels good to have a good debate.Theokhoth
Yeah, but those few harms are enough to turn even me off to the idea.

To be perfectly honest I personally have no interest in engaging in anal sex, I do object to people considering evil or sinful however (I'm not implying this is your point of view it is simply a widely used view)[QUOTE="Teenaged"]Well the proven posisitve effects I have listed to you in the link surely are overwhelming when thinking of the rare possibility of rectal prolapse.[QUOTE="Ace_WondersX"] but does it prove that smoking isn't healthy, yes. We were arguing about if anal sex was healthy or not.Ace_WondersX
And, no, no analogy works 100%. Smoking was just an example. ;)

It started off
"why should we have to accept homosexuals"
"because it's something they can't control"
"then why don't we accept people with all types of 'unnatural' sexual preferences"
