[QUOTE="Jaysonguy"]

Anyone trading in games really needs to think about choosing another hobby.

All it does is hurt the industry

This is very bad news, the sooner we have complete digital distribution the better off we'll be

I understand why you claim this hurts the industry. Your statement that I need to think about choosing another hobby it plain twittery, however. 1) It is perfectly legal. Why should I sit of software that will go unused when I can transfer the license and cut my loss. 2) Seems to me if I quit the hobby that would be one less consumer in the market. Show me how that would improve revenue for anyone.

Things change. I still like gaming and have been doing so since I was a child and saved my pennies to buy a 2600. Recently I just upped and traded in my 360 and all related stuff in for a Wii. Why? I dunno. I guess as awesomeas the 360 is I was finding my time taken by things such as castle crashers. I have nothing negative to say about the 360 or PS3. Both are awesome systems. Being a 32yo married father of 2 things have changed in my life. I no longer play MMOs and find the antics of Wii games to be fun.People like to make these generalizations of casual and hardcore. But really what is the differance wheather you play 100 hours of Mario Galaxy or a hundred hours of a so called "hardcore" game? Thats right there isn't. Play what you want. I no longer enjoy 20 hour marathons. I do however like to grab an hour of quiet when my family is out or sleeping and play a round of "golf" or grab some stars.

QFt. People just don't seem to understand that Bungie couldn't change the game too much, or else it would screw up the formula.

TMontana1004

What formula is that? Backtracking? I played it and wasn't disapointed ... but it still lacked oomph. Plus it had what I consider the worst final level and ending. Do I regret playing it? No. No I think it desrved as much praise as it got... not even close.

Well when you get the worst arcade game i know you will be pissed off even if its 800 points. However if they give us a choice of free arcade game of our choice im cool with that. But i gurantee you they will choose the game and it will be the worst one.dejo256

Well as long as you "gurantee" it, it must be a fact. There is no basis for that statement. Live has been a great service and should be given the opportunity to redeem itself. there will always be issues with services in any sector. The key is to minimize them and provide customer service to a satisfactory degree.

No it won't cause a problem from dust. In fact if you have it blowing laterally across the back of the unit it will aid in removing dust. If there is so much dust as to be a problem in the air you most likely should be running an optical device, or any electronics for that matter, in that room.

Halo 3 online is rather weak in my opinion, After enjoying Battlefield games and others similar, it is hard to get into Halo style multiplayer. It is sorely lacking. As far as kids talking trash ... meh ... goes with the integrated VOIP.

I don't see why people like the GTAs so much. The only way I can play it for a long period of time is if I have the cheats for it, otherwise it gets extremely boring.BIGJosher
The cheats make it boring? Go figure...

Conan AoH , not that it will ever actually come out. But I shall wait, would rather have a MMO that I can play from my couch for once.

I have no use for a Wii, I am not flaming it. I can understand it's attraction. For me, however, the gamecube gives me my dose of Nitedo type games. I would never use a Wii with my XBox360 in the house.

Flaw? It does what I expected from a Nintendo system. I find it an enoyable little thing. My XBox360 is played more nowadays, but the cube still has a place on my smaller tv.
