I decided I like Korean girls, now. Can you release a patch to update that character since it's important?
There are so many different preferences; race, gender, sexuality, religion, hair style, fashion, hobby, medical condition, residence, food, sports, etc. etc. etc. It's impossible to include all of them and some of them are in direct contrast to each other. When games focus on these topics, it can alienate people like me, who have other priorities and don't want to get sucked into these topics. This is not inclusion, and this is not diversity; it's a never ending battle that adds nothing positive to the game.
While I respect other people's own preferences and priorities, I do not want to be force fed their politics into my games any more than they would like my politics force fed into theirs. Games have been great before siding with and including certain politics and they will be fine without them. Let's make games about games, not politics.
@DanteReal69: Um... That's because the PC versions that released years ago are already the HD versions, in native 1080p, 60FPS, better effects, etc. My 5 year old laptop plays AC in native 1080p, unlike the PS3 version which I can't stand to even look at any more.
Garry Newman: Hi, I would like a bacon cheeseburger with extra bacon, swiss cheese, chili cheese fries, and a diet Coke.
Food arrives.
Garry Newman: WTF is this?!
Waiter: The chef just tossed some random stuff and you have a cricket - indian curry - diet generic cider - bean burrito that is wrapped up in banana peels instead of tortilla. It's not a political decision. It's a cooking decision about what people would eat if they had no choice, instead of spending six months trying to decide what to eat. You'll TAKE it, and you'll LIKE it.
