@naomha1: We'll see what happens at E3. Should be a very interesting show. Xbox boss Phil Spencer has been constantly hinting at E3 and I'm hoping it delivers some comfort to the concerns expressed by many long time Xbox 360 gamers. Since Phil Spencer took over the Xbox brand has started it's rebuild back in the right direction. A lot of damage was done with the original Xbox One release but Phil has been doing the hard work of trying to keep the brand from sinking and I'm pleased with what he's done so far though I acknowledge that he still has a long road ahead.
If they sell this for $499.00 then I'm down for the cause. I was expecting a far more expensive console sense Xbox boss Phil Spencer kept stressing it as a "premium" console. This could do very well if they can keep it at $500 bucks for all that power.
@externalpower43Agreed. I'm playing far more on my recently built PC than I thought I would. Not impressed with these consoles at all. It's a bust this generation on the console side as far as decent technology goes.
Not really big into the comics but I do enjoy the movies that are based on them. I can't see how Batman would be a match for Superman with no powers. More importantly, why are they even fighting each other? I guess Google will be my friend today to find out because I'm not reading the comics anytime soon to get the thorough background on it.
Just played the campaign, and now playing the multiplayer. Campaign wise, this is just a confusing mess. 343 really dropped the ball on the story. I agree with the reviewer, I was often thrown into environments without knowing exactly why I was there and why it was important to succeed in the mission. The characters couldn't have been less interesting and none of the plot really felt connected. The commercial promos leading up to the release of this game proved far more interesting then the game campaign itself.
That being said, I LOVE the multiplayer. This MP has me hooked and I have already spent hours which felt like minutes playing it. I miss the split screen co op but I have enough online friends to play with and the amount of variety of maps and modes is addictive. I'll be playing the MP of Halo 5 well through the Christmas season that's for sure.
@obsidian_born I am not sure I want someone to give a biased review of a game. What's the point if they already like a franchise and will give it a 9 no matter how bad it is? I want an honest assessment.
