@The_Beanster Thank you, as long as the character fits the premise of the game, there should be no problems with whether the lead is a female or a male. I just don't understand why this issue has become so overblown.
For my fellow males: If you would have a problem with female leads say yay, if not say nay. I'll start nay. I just want good games, female lead or male lead.
@Smokescreened84 @bigbear032888 And I'm an individual stating that these articles are growing. This is an issue that has become way overblown. If they decided tomorrow to make every single lead in games females (this does cover "strong females") I wouldn't care. I just want some good games.
What drives me bonkers is that there are parents who do not even know about the ESRB rating system. How do they not pay attention to an ugly letter at the bottom right. Oh right, because they want something to look after their kids for them. I call it laziness. I know not every game retailer does this but everyone I go to I always hear the retailer say "this game is rated m for mature" and then they read the content description on the back. Just another pathetic witch hunt for games.
