Every legit HDMI capture device on the market will only accept non-hdcp signals. They are used mostly to transfer uncompressed video from camcorders.
And I'm assuming you're capturing the gameplay to share...you may be keeping the 720p resolution but by the time you author the video I'm sure you're compressing it which diminishes the quality anyway. It hurts a little, but in the end a smaller file size is going to be more appreciated by viewers (as it helps loading times) versus the tiniest of detail you would get out of 1080p.

I've had one for a couple months and I enjoyed it -- the adjustable tension on the sticks is nice and the hyper-sensitive buttons are great, but when the left trigger stopped working for me and I went back to my old 360 controller I realized how much I missed the over-all feel and short trigger pull of the MS one. Plus, the extra wire is alittle annoying and if you have a chatpad, it will not work with the Onza.
Amazon shows December 31st, 2011. So I'm assuming around Holiday season.WSGRandomPersonAmazon puts Dec 31 for everything they don't have a firm date for. Sony has said in time for the holiday. it would make the most business sense to get it (to North America) before or around Thanksgiving.
I wire everything I can for two reasons: ethernet is full-duplex where with only one radio on your console, data can only travel in one direction at a time. And my wi-fi is being shared by other devices...I'd rather my consoles weren't waiting in line to send / recieve data.
