@StonedMagician: I've seen the singleplayer gameplay they've released so far and it looked great, but there wasn't much of it and I played in the multiplayer alpha. Hopefully they show off a decent amount of new stuff from the singleplayer & snapmap.

Please don't be rubbish. Please don't have strategically placed chest high walls for cover. Please don't have AI enemies that immediately scatter for a drawn out and boring gun fight. Please don't have cutscenes every two minutes breaking up the gameplay. Please don't have AI buddies getting in the way and spouting exposition equating to "go to blurg and get the mcguffin and comeback here to proceed" in the most obtuse way possible.

Basically, be Doom, not another Modern Warfare clone.

It's a shame they changed Mika's Critical Art, the game is a little less fun for it

More community engagement sounds like a great idea and the sort of soft-finish/segway into some longer gameplay sessions sounds like fun. A bit more Random Encountery rather than more coverage of the weeks new hotness maybe?

Drawing some attention to the sites other community features by highlighting some picks of the weeks community generated content could be a good idea, it might encourage more people to use the wealth of tools on the site.

@blackace: It's only been announced for Japan so far, but considering it was in Famitsu that's the only region it would be announced for. No one from SEGA US or Europe has denied it's coming West (or commented at all about it's existence despite it getting plastered all over news sites) which makes me think it'll get announced at Playstation Experience.

Nothing about a trilogy collection yet, though that'd be a lot of work. 2 & 3 would need a lot of work to be presentable for the big screen, a lot of 2D artwork would need redrawn and 3 doesn't even have an official English localisation yet.

@tsunami2311: Unless you're watching the gameplay on a tiny window on a HDTV it must be upscaled. A good upscaler does do it far, far better than the rubbish upscalers built in to HDTVs. If they manage to get it as crisp as the output from an emulator it'd be a massive improvement over the blurry mess HDTVs normally spit out from low res sources.

@snaketus: All the hardware they're using is cheap. The only premium aspect to the entire project is the ridiculous case they've put it in. They're even charging extra for the HDMI upscaler. They're charlatans

@tsunami2311: It's basically people adding a good HDMI upscaler to the NES directly at the chip (so before most of the signal degradation happens) largely because the uipscalers included in TVs by default are terrible upscalers
