@Bromancius @antonis_g7 I was talking about XIV, not XIV ARR... I said I did NOT like the GCD in it. Turn-based combat is nice in single player but ... NOT in multiplayer that's why I thought it sucked..! And it HAD a feel of turn-based.. didn't it?
I think they are taking the game in the correct way now.
I myself never played FF XIV ONLINE before, so I don't know much about it..
The only thing I DIDN'T like watching gameplay videos on youtube was the turn-based-like system... From what I saw, I saw 10 ppl sitting doing .... nothing for 5+ seconds and that seemed a bit... dull to be honest.
I really cannot imagine turn-based neither on pve(group quests or raids) nor pvp(Imagine turn-based pvp? :D ) . So anyways, call me old fashioned, but I would really like action-style fighting gameplay.
Its graphics seem perfect atm, I don't care about MMO clichees, I actually like them, it's just another typical MMO but with the FF world and that's amazing on its own. Plus I dont care about having to pay, as long it's no more than 10 dollars/month.
I'm really excited and signed up for the beta already..! :)
