@mikemaj82 because buying a piece of hardware that can only play games is more practical...

@mav_destroyer @TohouAsura No, he's saying it's OKAY for noobs since navigation isn't a problem for any person with half a brain.

@flashn00b I've noticed that Valve has been on a campaign to get all of the games on Steam to run on Linux. In fact, ALL of Valve's games can already run on it. It's free, open source, and also cuts out another market share for M$. I think they will implement it to the detriment of the feudal lords of the gaming industry.

BUT PS3 HAS NO GAMES? Seriously though, as a pc gamer that forces my games to run at 60fps. Playing any sort of game on the ps3 hurts my brain (talking to you especially Borderlands 2), and I can't use my monitor's native resolution because the xbox can't even run 1080p, and when the ps3 tries it stutters like crazy. In response, I've sold all my multi-platform games and re-bought them on steam (for less than I sold my used copies for, mind you), and couldn't be happier. Both consoles are extremely outdated. have clunky interfaces, terrible online services, and a lack of downloadable games and content. I think they ended up helping the PC market by stagnating the console market with garbage hardware and overpriced games.

@Syk0_k03r @hexhunter222 Bitter people without friends generally think that social activities are worse than any sort of loner type experiences. I've played about 80% of every high-calibur/high-quality game that's come out since 1990, and just about every game that has included co-op was more fun with a friend, and every game that had solid CORE gameplay mechanics that didn't tack on the multiplayer, has been at the very least entertaining. Get some fucking friends your age and enjoy time with them. And don't worry, they aren't Cylons like your little buddy Saul.

Shadowrun isn't an EA game.

I'm an analytically introverted extrovert? I think I just don't really care as long as it's an enjoyable gaming experience. Some games tack on garbage "side quests/collectibles/text" that don't make the game worth being 100% or read all the way through while others do. Games are almost always better with a friend though. Depends on my mood really. Only thing I really don't like is stuff like horde mode and zombies. Terrible AI with unbalanced difficulty and mindless shooting.

It just sounds like RuneScape's Grand Exchange.
