@Viperr234 Infinite was a work of art, and a good game. I haven't played this game, so I can't comment on its gameplay, but it is by no means a work of art.

@Seifer24 @WarHead2011 @1234ritchie If you can't keep up with pros, that's your fault for being terrible. I'm not a big fighter fan, but I'm tired of CoD and other games being purposely unbalanced so that the awful players can do better.

@baxwam Tactics Ogre is completely different, plus FF: Tactics is better than Ogre, though, they are close.

@Shanks_D_Chop @anfunny I've played every CoD online since the first CoD in 2003. It's actually what got me into online gaming.

Sadly, all the leagues were on consoles and that's what my friends had it for, so I've played CoD:3-MW3 on console only. I used to play competitive playlist in BlOps with some friends (one of which was on my Halo MLG tournies teams). We ran into Bigtymer and one of his other teammates and held our own in the playlist.

I will admit that BlOps was fun, and while it's definitely not the worst competitive game in terms of teamwork, the kill times aren't long enough and the sticky aim is a COMPLETE joke. I like how everyone would use the same OP gun and perks mostly and the objectives prevented camping, but the sprinting and ADS mechanics slow down gameplay and reward camping more.

I've been playing games since 1993, and I've been reading game reviews since my first issue of Nintendo power. THOSE had some terrible reviews. I upgraded to GameSpot in 2003 and made an account in 2004. I've been reading reviews on this site for almost 10 years. There have been some good reviewers and some bad.

Carolyn may not be the best game player, but she is DAMN GOOD at reviewing them. I've yet to come across a review that didn't make unbiased, solid points and where the score didn't make sense.

All I see are people crying that haven't even tried the games. This game is not great. I have competed in MLG tournaments. I know what competition is, and this game is meh at best with terrible netcode. A 7.5 is a solid score for a meh game.

While I'd disagree about jumping around not being a skill, it's one that unneededly adds complications to the game's net code that, at this point in time, is shoddy for all games. When I tried the beta it was literally unplayable with all the lag I was experiencing (30mbps down 5 up).

Games should be more about teamwork and map control (weapon pick ups/flag captures/capture points), instead of camping, and getting the first shot (CoD).

@anakvunky Instawin for getting kills instead of doing the objective is not skill based. Nukes are fucking stupid.

@laser00 Not really. It's nice to see games unlike CoD or BF, but this game is about as unoriginal as the two.

@johnmetcalf @anfunny By retarding the progress of the mind and man, they might as well be. That line may NEED to be crossed in order for people to understand things for how they are. You couldn't be more wrong.

@johnmetcalf That's not "holding your convictions," that's closed-mindedness. People like that deserve absolutely no respect or to be defended. They are what's destroying the world right now.
