This expansion was great. Deserves at least an 8. Setting was fun and the new gear was really cool, I don't think the narrative was so bad it brought the score down to a six (some interesting characters in there). And the mini game was fun and original if you ask me.
This is awesome. Looks like it does everything it sets out to achieve and harks back to the intense, no-nonsense 90's style shooter. Props to Bethesda and id Software for not screwing this up!
@koospetoors: Exactly. I hope they realise before they go and make the next one. Knowing EA though, they're obtuse enough to ignore all the other things from the previous game it lacked.
I hope this doesn't get shut down, I mean, they're doing it for free and it would no doubt please tons of fans of both Star Wars and the original Battlefront. It would just be cruel at this point.
@arkhenon: Really? Heats of Stone above Shivering Isles? I mean, each to their own, but SI had a huge amount of content and it was vastly different from the main game, whereas HoS (which i do love also) was really just one questline among other things. Anyways, yeah Bethesda certainly aren't a good example of good dlc, but I feel like they're far from the worst.
@txuzai: Its funny cause this looks like its taking a few notes from Bethesda's shivering Isles DLC. Arguably the greatest game expansion ever made. There's much worse dlc out there than what Bethesda makes, namely that of Ubisoft and EA. Don't see why Bethesda needs to specifically be called out.
