@RicanV: Thank you! I don't get why people find this so baffling. Over complexity can be disengaging and if a complicated plot isn't explained well or isn't tied together in a satisfying manner, then its hardly a good thing.
People say Bethesda has trouble writing a good story and characters, which i believe they do. But Oblivion is actually a really good testament to that. I haven't played it in a while and i still remember fondly the characters and the awesome quests and its main quest is still my favorite of all Bethesda's titles to this day. Martin Septim, Baurus and Lucien Lachance were all emotionally fleshed out characters that felt real and interesting, unlike any of their characters in recent titles. So they can do it, they've just been off their game.
@Barighm: Its not just the "said reason". He's right when he says it would be like creating a whole new game, Oblivion is very outdated mechanically. Why would they spend so much time and money on remastering the harder and less successful project? It seems pretty reasonable imo.
@bigbadcrawford: Battlefront EA may be a fine game. But it doesn't change the fact that it has not even half the amount of content of Battlefront 2 which came out 10 years ago. Battlefront was and still is one of my favorite games ever and EA took it and walked all over it, I can't forgive them for that and its for that reason that I, and I'm sure many others, refuse to buy it.
This makes me so sad. These people don't realise what they're doing to one of my most beloved games, utterly butchering it and selling each piece at the full price of the original. Go to hell EA.
