Crytek said that Crysis 2 had a much bigger budget than the first one. Bigger budget, three platforms, lower profit margins for Crysis 2 and 2 mil units VS smaller budget, one platform, higher profit margins and 3,5 mil copies for Crysis 1. Seems like a huge flop to me.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: Consoles are on their deathbed. Pretty soon the PC will be the only device with games for the core gamer and the complexity issue will solve itself with fusion APUs and System-on-a-Chip. The writing's on the wall, the industry knows it and most companies are already preparing for the post-console era. The next generation of consoles will be the last and it will cause huge financial problems for the companies that make them.

The game is much, much better on PC and there's a lot of people playing. It's a good buy if you like class-based shooters.

I could get 100 games on Steam for the same price as a console, so... no. I would buy the game on PC, if Netherealm want my money they know what they have to do.

The BF3 videos are from PC gameplay, so... But hey, TC's point still stands: There's no need for consoles anymore :D

After SF4 sold well on PC, I think MK's chances of being released on the platform are quite good. Netherealm will probably test the waters with Mortal Kombat Kollection and, if that sells well enough, they will go ahead with porting the new MK.

There can only be one answer:

An Apple console would have the other three companies crapping their pants. I'd love to see it, if only for the laughs.
