DLCs arent region-freefunsohng

1. no 2. I doubt it 3. depends on the game, i think all ps3 games are global though cuz i seem to always be playing against people speaking other non english languages in Uncharted 2, and in kz2 i know you can switch to play region or globalBangerman15

To play US region DLC you need a US region game disc.Same goes for all the other regions.Button layouts are the same for games across all regions.Regarding servers I have Resistance 2 from korea but the online is on european servers.conistant

Thanks everybody, I guess i'll just stick to NA region then. I really do like to have DLC just in case there will be one, I don't wan't to miss on anything i really hated that all games are now required to have DLC. And theres a lot games coming out this year, i guess I have no choice but to stick with the NA region games and i have no choice to wait till june or august 'til i leave the country.:(

ok, thanks:D

I know that the ps3 is Region free, I have a US console and i'm somewhere in asia right now, but I want to know following things:

  1. Can I play NA DLC on a asia region game?
  2. Will my button layout be different?
  3. Will i get stuck on a different server or is it global?

Hopefully someone can help me over my problem. Its been a week since Bad Company 2 came out and i still can't play it. and other new games coming out this week and i can't get a hold of any NA region game. so please can someone here help me. i tried searching answers on the internet but I can't get a proper answer so thats why im asking my question over here.

I just bought Killzone 2 a week ago and then I tried the online multiplayer after i finish the Single Player Campaign in Killzone 2

i frequently see a lot of active players and matches online. and their are still novice players like me to play with.

the controls where hard at first but i got used to the standard controls in it. an its really fun the multi mission matches

So i say: Yes, Their are people playing online and still growing strong.
