I don't see why it's so hard for some people to understand. The Master Chief Collection will contain the same Halo CE Anniversary Remake that was release on Xbox 360. It's only Halo 2 that's being remastered. I don't get why you would expect them to remaster CE a second time. lol

edit: remaster, not remake.

Because 343 said that they are finally bringing the original Halo CE multiplayer to xbox live. The Halo CE anniversary on the xbox 360 never had the original multiplayer

@a55a55inx:Well that's nothing new.. GTA 4's DLC's gave us 2 different perspectives.

@mastermetal777: Actually i think GTA 4 had the best atmosphere IMO older GTA games were just cartoony but GTA 4 had a dark and kinda realistic world and i really enjoyed the story in GTA 4 it had the most well written characters and had a cohesive storyline.

GTA 5 just seems to be riding the coattails of GTA 4 it just doesn't seem to bring anything new to the table it shouldn't be a numbered GTA game.

But not like how GTA 5 does it: it allows you to switch between 3 different people whenever you want to. (as long as you're not in the middle of a mission specifically designed for that character)

I assume they're saying 2 million copies in a game's lifetime? It's really not that stupid when you consider their financial situation. Let's take a look at how much money they really make from developing a game and considering if it's really a viable option to continue the franchise. Currently, the average development cost for games range anywhere from $20-50 Million, depending on if it's a high-profile game or not. Let's just say that they spent $20 million on developing a new franchise and sold 1 million copies within the first several months. Developers only get about 15% of the total profits from each game sold, while the publisher receives about 30%. So if they publish the game themselves they will get 45%. So at 1 million copies for $60 a copy, they would make $9 million (or $27 million if they self-publish)... (then you subtract the development costs if they published the game themselves). And you are left with less than $10 million to develop its' sequel. Selling less than 2 million copies would just mean they would be making less than $20 million in total, which is how much it costs to develop a game. I didn't even factor in the games that are sold at a discounted price.

Is it really worth the risk if there isn't enough of a fanbase there to support it?

I started a topic like this one about a month ago, and no one really had an answer. There was nothing I can find online either. I'm just guessing that they aren't showing any Halo CE gameplay is because it probably looks similar to the xbox 360 anniversary edition while the Multiplayer resembles the PC version. (Unfortunately, I highly doubt that the Halo CE multiplayer maps received any type of aesthetic changes)

Depends what you want to play. I just enjoyed playing The Last of Us for the first time, but other than that I don't really use it. My brother's been playing Madden on it, so it wasn't collecting dust like it was a few months ago.

No one walks around while constantly looking down the sights of their gun (unless they are clearing a room or something similar) for several reasons: 1. It obstructs a person's view and 2. Holding something up for long periods of time is tiring on a person's arms. Eventually you're going to want to put your arms down and hold a gun from the hip, especially if there are no enemies nearby.

I thought the story in GTA5 was just ok, but it was told in a more interesting way by allowing you to see the story unfold from 3 different perspectives. The graphics and detail are much better this time around and there's definitely much more to do than GTA4. There's quite a few of whacky missions to take part in, so there's no worries there. Is there anything new? Like I said earlier, you play the game from 3 different perspectives; meaning that you can switch between 3 characters. Shooting and cover system is much better this time. And there's much more to explore this time around.

I believe that the "smoothness" you are referring to is the framerate. Framerate varies from game to game, and it's up to the developers to decide if they want to sacrifice a smoother framerate over better graphics. Some games run at a faster framerate on consoles, but there always has to be a trade off between the two (graphics and framerate). Some WiiU games run "smoother" because the graphics are much simpler in certain games.

In some interviews with 343, they said that they WILL have online multiplayer for Halo CE.

Yes, and the framerate runs a lot smoother than I thought it would.
