Why do I hate GTA? Pretty easy answer actually. I get enjoyment out of games that have good story lines and require me to think. GTA has neither of those in my opinion. It's random killing of innocent people and police officers, which bothers me since my father is a policer officer. I'd much rather play FF7 or chess. Also, I play COD4, but that is much different as I only play online games like capture the flag where you have to use strategy.

Do you even know what VI's story is even about? Have you played it and given it a chance?

Either way it's your own opinion but when has GTA forced you to kill cops or the innocent? I may be wrong but I believe never.

I don't know IV's story line because I gave I-III a chance against my better judgement. I've realized it's the same formula each time. And are you "forced" to kill innocents/police? No idea but it's common knowledge that those and other activities such as abusing women are what the games have become known for. I don't find those things fun, just disgusting.

Interesting. I do not see how my inverted cross relates to my dislike of GTA...but I'll go with it. The inverted cross has nothing to do with Satanism, as it represents my rejection of the Christian religion (exclusionary simply because I used to be a Christian, not another faith). That would entail I don't believe in Satan, yes? And I never said people shouldn't play GTA because I'm "offended" by it, I just think they are terrible games. So, if people are offended by my avatar...well, that's their problem that they aren't comfortable enough with other people's views.

Agreed. It will remain a mystery to me as to why they became so popular.

i'll playing "studying for finals" and cod4. plus maybe crisis core and ff tactics. i still have to pass ff12, haven't played uncharted yet... there's a lot to do, and not much time to do it. so gta4 is completely forgettable IMO. Rakuho

I must be losing my mind. I respect the fact the some peolpe do not like GTA, and that's fine. However comparing GTA to that piece of crap demo PAIN ( it cannot be a game with only one freaking level and two characters)is just ridiculous.. Worst $7.99 I spent in my life. Oh and by the way if you only like "thinking " games get Pixel Junk Monsters. I only wish I missed out on the painful expereince of Pain.
