@DarthLod I don't mind spending money for a day one release. You are supporting interest in that game, so that one day a ultimate/GOTY edition will be made.
@DarthLod Really?! That's how you define being a good parent. Not whether or not they are playing violent games or wasting excessive amounts of time playing games, but on whether or not their console blocks used games.
@DarthLod I wouldn't say they are oblivious. You can only please some of the people some of the time. In this case I think they are aiming at making better profits. I don't know what data they are using to support that this block will help. Whether or not it does only time can tell.
@DarthLod I said college boys play COD, but children do anyway. A lot of parents are oblivious to all of that anyway. When I asked for a console for Christmas I was not questioned on what were the pro's and con's of it. I was just told this would be my only gift and that I better like it.
@DarthLod I never said it was going to be PS4 that was going to crash and burn. It could easily be Sony using this as a learning experience. Remember nothing about this is final, Microsoft could easily change their mind. It's not that difficult of a switch
@DarthLod Parents don't often investigate the consoles specs. A kid just asks for it, and they give it to them. If they do find out about the block, they may ask their child, but children are persistent and don't use logic. As soon as they announce a new COD on the console tons of college boys will fork over money for them. I have a lot of college friends who only own 3 games on their console.
