GTAV isn't even a 9 out of 10 it's far more in line with an 8 our of 10 and on top of that the reviewers intolerance for the artistic vision of the game proves that gaming journalists still don't get it. The writer of GTAV whoever he is can tell his story whatever way he sees fit. If his story and vision doesn't call for positive female characters(there aren't any positive male ones either) than so be it. You should hold a game down because it doesn't portray a group of people the way you want them to be portrayed. That's just asinine. Your personal feelings on a artistic vision should not be part of a software review. If you criticize a the story, criticize plot holes, poor characterization, bad pacing, flat characters, you know things that make a story poorly told.

Makes sense. Why make SFV when people are still willing to play a different version of SFIV.

@kohle36 @ZTS_vs_Deck You just don't get it. Millions of Dollars and people jobs are not something you risk on a whim. This isn't the 90s anymore or hell even the early 2000s. Games cost a ridiculous amount of money to make and one big underselling title can lead to a company into dire straits. It should tell you how bad the sales were for Vampire Resurrection that Capcom wont even consider a new game now. Imagine if they had released Vampire 4 and it sold 100,000 copies (which is nearly triple the sales of Vampire Resurrection) it would be a massive financial hit. No company is going to take that risk.

It has nothing t do with Buy or we wont give you what you want it is "Let's see how many people actually are willing to drop money on this franchise." The answer was not many. At the end of the day Vampire will never come back, ever, because the series, at the end of the day, just isn't that popular.

@kohle36 Another guy who just doesn't get it. Keep crying and whining because you blew it and you're not getting another Vampire. You and everyone who likes Vampire but didn't buy Vampire Resurrection, screwed yourselves over.

You people just don't get it do you. The $ value risk reward on a new Vampire is not there.

Logically think about what you are asking. You are asking Capcom to develop a brand new fighting game for the next gen-consoles, which BTW cost tens of millions of dollars to develop for, and you want it to be Vampire 4, a sequel to a series that has been dormant for over 15 years.

No company in their right mind would ever do that. The financial risk is too large. If it fails you just lost the company millions and you most likely are out of a job.

So what do you do? You propose to the company to re-release the old games online. This is cheap and wouldn't cost a lot in R&D. This will help gauge interest in the game franchise and if the numbers show a strong enough hardcore following we will consider investing in a new game.

Also BTW we will tell people right before release that the success of this game dictates whether the new game gets put into production so that everyone knows how important it is to buy this game and support so we can get approved for the new game.

Every single step they took was completely logically from a financial stand point. You the consumer didn't pull through and you cost yourself Vampire 4 by not buying Vampire Resurrection. Let me ask you something? Would you pay $75 for Vampire 4 instead of $60 if that's what the price tag was when it was released? If you said yes and you didn't buy Vampire Resurrection U-R-DUMB.

BTW complaining the people already own the game is a joke. All console ports of Vampire were far from arcade perfect AND the online releases of 3S and MVC2 were both inferior initially to previous console releases and they sold like hot cakes. So don't give me that bullcrap.

No it's not. There is something in this world called an unfounded opinion, it's an opinion that has no weight or merit behind it. That's what you have put forth. What you're saying make no sense anyway. How could you not pick up multiple characters in Melee yet can in Brawl? You provide no logically backing for anything. You're just another fanboy arguing with nostalgia rather than facts and logic.

You rate a game on how deep and enjoyable a gameplay experience it gives you. Brawl HAS none of that. It's a game with no advance tactics, it's slow, unpolished, and is completely broken in balance. Meta-Knight dominates the game, he has since it's inception. How is that a good game?

@josephl64 Brawl is just a bad game period. I dunno how anyone can like it to be honest. It does NOTHING well. It's got a piss poor story mode which is a terrible side scrolling POS crap, story is of course useless, all the mini-games are just bad, and to top it all off the core gameplay is the worst in thee series history. Brawl is by definition a bad video game. There is nothing redeeming about it. it's a fanboy game, it's only reason people like it. For example someone might say they love Brawl cause "Snake is in it"

@Nar_Garzhvog27 @Hvac0120 Games sell for a lot more than that. Maybe you should try selling them somewhere OTHER than Gamespot.
