@Gelugon_baat: I get it. But all the same it's a quality review bit of a shame more people don't get to read them. I for one would like to see some of your others.
@Gelugon_baat: True I suppose. Still I just recently got it and think it's fantastic. Not sure how much has changed but seeing as Update 186, and version 3.09 is out that to me seems like a lot of support from the dev's.
This review should be on Steam instead of buried on this site...a lot more people would get to read it.
@shingui5 Sony is known for one major thing when it comes to their development tools. They stink. Sony is a hardware company software is not their strong suit.
So much so that 3rd party companies like Square make a decent side business out of selling their own inhouse tools.
If MS keeps titles backwards compatible over LIVE than that gives developers a revenue stream that makes it much more profitable to develop for over time.
Where as if Sony drops it and makes a developer re-do legacy titles well...not nearly the money or profit margins in that.
The result will be more titles and more developer support for one and less for the other.
@bubba_1988 @Yuck_Too If Sony does that how receptive do you think developers will be to support them?
A developer releases a title they worked on for years only to have Sony drop it from the PSN a year later...would end up in court suing for loss of revenue.
