Do you think that the PlayStation Network is a work-in-progress and that in the next year, we should see some radical improvements, such as making it easier/quicker to purchase and download games, and perhaps bring over a few features from Xbox Live?

Or are bug fixes and minor tweaks (... and Home) the only improvements we can look forward to?

I'm asking because it is my intention to buy a PS3 later in the year (hopefully when they cut the price) and at the moment it seems to me like PSN is severely lacking in the ease-of-use and features departments.

For those of you in the States that were early-adopters, have you noticed considerable improvements since launch?

That's the benefit of region-free! Unfortunately, it's harder to sell imported games should you wish to trade them in...

yes it is also comming to the 360 but who gives a damn? i beleave that it was said that the ps3 would have extra content.. nothing along the lines of adding to the story mode but things like the ps3 version will have the entire comic series on the disc, more shows and movies for you to put on the tvs in the game, that last one isnt a big deal but its still that little bit extra...

Not sure about the comics on the disc, but the PS3 version of The Darkness is definitely getting extra content in the form of more TV shows and cartoons that can be watched on the in-game TVs.
