Grinded out enough to buy all but one character with in game money.( I'm not good at the game either and have done very few of the trials) Happy for those who will be able to pick this up, not be separated from the rest of the player base because of the version they own and get all the characters. I like that I will finally be able to point to this game and recommend it fully. For the most part. It still might not feel as good/deep as sf4. We will have to see if they add any more universal mechanics. Excited to see what new v-triggers my mains get.

Even though I like the game and knew what I was getting at launch, I agree with most here. Most of this should have been in the game day one.

@PSYCHOV3N0M: It's ultimately up to them. Respecting artistic vision doesn't mean you can't critique, suggest and challenge. I believe as long as you realize it's up to them in the end. I also don't believe in making demands on artists.(unless it's a commission and even then) I am not demanding anything from them but I question it and you, who advocate for it.

Again. The game will do fine as it is so long as they don't muck up gameplay but I say they will better if they knock off this nonsense about not having a lower difficulty setting. In my opinion they should have never mentioned it. Made the game. Said it's hard as balls. Dark Souls folks more than likely already have it on radar and would even if it had a lower difficulty.

@savagerodent: I know every game isn't going to work for everyone. I'd get it if someone was asking them to turn an rpg into a first person shooter. Or tack needless multiplayer onto something last minute and do a complete terrible job of it. I don't see how adding one mode neglects an entire market. I don't see why the market they want absolutely can't play the game unless it's marketed to them as having no easy setting that they don't have to use.

It's like your saying the game looks great. Challenging. Wait? An easier difficulty exists? Welp. I'm out.

@iskaroth: Got no obsession with games for everyone. My problem is people acting like it's the end of the world if a game is made to appeal to more people with little to no extra effort.(though I will amend if ai programming is difficult. I wouldn't know) People literally behaving like the game is worth less to them just because some one of lesser skill will able to complete it.

So. No. I don't understand them.

Games for "everyone" also does not guarantee dull characters/story in my opinion. Just as games for niche does not grantee interesting or good stories characters. Some games still don't give a crap about either.

@savagerodent: Why not? if they enjoy the game, atmosphere, characters, environments, music, art, graphics, story but just aren't that good at games, why is it so bad for the game to have a lower setting so they can enjoy it? How dose that hurt a single person on this planet? You don't have to see it. You can never know about it. Unless you go out of your way to watch casuals play on let's plays or something. and the dev can get more sales. I do not, for the life of me, understand this mentality.

were this some indie dev with limited resources and making the game easier was/difficult I might understand.

@Thanatos2k: how does it hurt to have an option for other potential customers? Not a single one you praising this idea makes any g.d sense. an option you never have to see, for people you will never meet but that will extend the popularity of a series you are suppose to care about and all the developer hast to do is make the a.i dumber. No harm done.

@angrycreep: True. But don't leave out that you can earn all of the characters and stages with in game currency and that this model of updating the single disc was done in response to the meme-like status of the complaint about "super, ultra, turbo arcade edition" which was how they use to give us balance changes and new content. This also means the player base isn't fragmented as some one with super sf4 couldn't play against those with Ultra sf4. If I remember correctly.

Roster isn't that great. Gameplay is more important than graphics for me so as long as that's solid I'm pretty much sold. Just gonna wait for the review because I don't do pre-order culture.

Hey. Congrats! Tamoor! And the game looks like it's coming along well.

I waited 17 years for Karin to be featured in her own series again as a playable fighter. While she's a little different in Street Fighter 5, I really couldn't be happier with that games interpretation of her. Older, smarter, stronger and classy AF!
