@LordCrash88 @WheelerJared Not much was offered on the side in the earlier games, which isn't always a bad thing. Adding menial tasks to a game just to have other things for the player to do doesn't always make it more interesting. Although I did enjoy the ship missions in AC3, which is why I'm a little more excited for this one.
@LordCrash88 @WheelerJared True. But I'm hoping this one will have more interesting things to do on the side. Apart from storyline missions, everything in AC3 was a bit boring. And judging from the reviews so far, AC4 seems to have fixed this problem, at least to some extent.
I really hope this one isn't a disappointment to me. I've been staying away from most of the videos to avoid spoilers and make sure I'm not hyping it up too much. Hopefully that'll help.
I'll probably get a ps4 for killzone and ACIV this holiday. If I buy one later, I'll just feel like I missed out on some good games. Plus I'll have a break for a few days around christmas where I can really get into it and not have to worry about work.
@Lord_Python1049 The Last of Us was a close one for me. One of the most intense and heart wrenching stories I've ever seen in a game. It still wasn't breaking bad level though.
