Wow...you guys are elitists! I might use my iPhone more than my Xbox and PS3 combined. If a game is good what does it matter what platform its on? I just thought it was interesting that this is the 3rd former Bliz developer that is doing iPhone stuff.

And now these guys...

OH Wow...."Darklands"....that's a blast from the past! Great game despite the insane number of bugs and the 11 3.5 floppy disk install. It was a mix of overland travel, isometric combat, and text based adventure when you were in the cities.

There wasn't any "Magic" but you could have an alchemist who mixed different potions from many ingredients. When your party was injured you had to rest for weeks in towns to heal up, so you went out with other characters to get common jobs like blacksmithing and bouncer for bars.

If I remember correctly he setting was Germanic and the difficulty was crazy hard.

It locked up on me once or twice! But thats not the only problems with the game. Read my review or ask me if you want to hear more.

It really depends on what type of games you like! I personally DID NOT like Oblivion. The art was ugly, the acting was cheesy, I never knew what I was suppose to do next, which I guess in a game like that is the whole point…you can do anything!I just didn't feel like anything I was doing was very significant. I lost the point of the game and the main story arc in all the minutia of all the villagers lame side missions.I also got annoyed when I couldn't find the villagers who gave me quests to get my reward because they had left the place I met them to get a drink at the bar, or worse…they went to bed for the night…now you are stuck in this town waiting for them to wake up just to get paid for the job you did.

I would like a little less reality in my games please.

I primarily picked it up for God of War: Chains of Olympus and Patapon. I resisted for so long because there really is nothing else I want to play on the system, but not that I have one I will have to investigate the games more closely.

Halo seems like the obvious choice, with 8 million fans, who wouldnt want to make a movie with that kind of fn base? But as for story and atmosphere, I think Fear would make a better Movie than it did as a game. (Sorry to you FEAR fans, I just got bored with running around all the empty levels).

The 360 is simply the best system right now! Look at this great list of games!

Gears of War
Assassins Creed
Call of Duty 4
Halo
Bioshock
Mass Effect

I thought Viva Pinata was interesting, and had so much potential, but I wanted to do more with it so I was a bit disappointed by it.

I played though it twice....

The first time I absolutely loved it. Was very happy with the story, the flexible game-play and the inventive ways you could use your abilities in combination with your weapons to over come some of the challenges.

The Second time I found all these flaws and problems with the game that tarnished my original opinions. Many of the weapons work EXACTLY like some of the plasmids, making the plasmid version useless since you can always get to a vendor to get more ammo. And the story started making even less since the second time through, the the whole bit when you finally meet Ryan (without giving anything away) it was totally lame...who would do that?

Anyway, its a good game and worth playing, but i agree, the replay value is only in finding all the secrets and for a personal self discovery of interesting ways to use the plasmids and weapons.
