I think you missed the "IMO" part. IMO, KZ2 is the only PS3 exclusive that looks better than Gears2. You cant say the same about the multiplats considering its a FACT that most look better on the 360.

No MGS4 looks better and Uncharted is easily on the par with Gears 2. And yes multiplats look better, but its also a fact that most of them are ports.

I'd have to agree the player models in uncharted and mgs4 are amazing and the environments in uncharted are superb. To think Gears is so much better then mgs4 and Uncharted is fanboyism at best. Also the reason I prefer those 2 titles to Gears in terms of graphics is because both the other developers are using custom made engines for their titles and they look beautiful. Most U3 engine based games look very similar with a few exceptions.

To be fair though, the graphic style and presentation of gears of war 2 for me and for about most gamers i know who owns both systems and plays gow2, mgs4, and even kz2, find that gow2 is more appealing and the arguably the best of the 3. Let it be known that this is just based on me and my friend's preference to avoid any arguments. However, i and my friend's also believe that when it comes to the best graphics, the PS3 is most probably the better of the two systems. If say, GOW2 was specifically designed only for the ps3, it would most likely look better than the 360 version or if say mgs4 was designed specifically for the 360, it would most likely look not as stellar. Multiplat though, there is no argument that the 360 wins either just barely or by a mile. But, that's just because it 's no secret that it's easier and cheaper to make games for the 360. Take a look at fight night round3, the ps3 has better graphics than the 360 version because they had no time costraints with the ps3. (",)

If i'm not mistaken, capcom already did that with the earlier ps2 RE games, not sure but i think that feature was in re2. But i do agree that it would be cool to see that in the next RE. (",)

RE5 is not actually dumbed down but rather just shorter and more laxed in terms of options and weapon upgradability. I don't believe that it's easier just that the infinite ammo option and the faster real time weapon access and the money glitch makes it easier. Just try playing it on the hardest difficulty without coming from a saved game, not using the glitch, and with bare non upgraded weapons and arguably it's even harder than RE4. RE5 is definitely not as serious or as fresh an experience than re4 when it came out, but it's still a blast to play with and it will take lots of time if you want to fully upgrade every weapon and goodies. I love fighting games and have been playing sf2 since it came out. I have to agree that in order to get the most out of sf4 and other arcade type brawlers, you have to get an arcade stick. The hori and mad catz arcade sticks are the best. DO NOT GET IMITATION/CHINA MADE STICKS. To play with the normal controller, i and my hardcore fighting buds find that holding the controller with your left hand as normal, while your right hand as if your fingers are poised to play on an arcade stick is the way to go to be able to perform those hard to do moves. Basically pointy finger on x or square, middle finger on triangle, and o. For simultaneus two button presses for throws, counters, etc. either the pointy/middle or pointy/thumb would be best suited. But the first two fingers For the shoulder buttons, just practice hitting them fast enough till your comfortable. It also helps if your on a good sitting position and you hold the controller against your lap or a padded table for added support and stability when performing quick moves or combos. (",)

Many Thanks! That was indeed the problem. Now it seems even faster than the 360. (",) Now, i'm thinking of also getting a SC4 for the ps3. Don't get me wrong, i love my xbox but ever since my 2007 model got the e74 message 3x after taking it back for repairs despite having an independent power supply cooling fan for it, i never play my 2009 model xbox for more than 2hrs. If i've got friends or relatives on vacation from the city who want to get a break from the urban life, ironically we play video games for hours on end so the PS3 came highly recommended by a datablitz tech friend. I just bought the latest 80gig model of ps3. While playing SF4 i noticed that the load time between fights is wayyy longer than the xbox version. I've read that it's more complicated to write/program games for the ps3 and i really don't mind the difference in load times. My concern is if my brand new ps3 is defective and was just wondering and hoping that this is just the norm. I live in a rural area and have no one near my residence with a ps3 to compare it to. Feedbacks would be much appreciated. (",)
