@Ravenherder Entire review highlights tons of touches to freshen up and evolve the MMORPG, then you make this ridiculous cómment. You haven't played the game, and you evidently can't even read. Gtfo.

@vochelli You have no proof or foresight that is how it's going to be. Pay to win just ends up pissing people off. That won't be how it is. There is already an example in Valves' Dota 2. The game comes completely playable with the whole quality game unlocked. Their store will focus on cosmetics. This model works. It has worked in TF2, and it will in Dota 2. Free to play does not mean less quality.

It's the same as people claiming a non subscription MMO is lesser quality than a subscription based one. Totally false.

The free to play business model also means terrible overhyped games won't have a chance to just gain hundreds of millions of dollars revenue first. With free to play and cosmetic/non essential game items in a store. It's a good future for gamers.

Also i doubt the world will be totally free to play. I think people are fine with a a price. But people are playing free to play games more and more. And why not? They're more popular than most AAA games. regardless the companies who treat customers best will come out on top. Companies like Valve already have a headstart here.

P.S. If questionable pay to win games come out... do not play them. Take the better option. Be a responsible consumer.

@tachsniper @ipackheat Pretty much this. If a new game can't match WoW, why bother with it.

@ipackheat Yes, games of today should mostr definately be compared to the WoW of today. A new MMO must live up to todays standard. It doesn't have to have every feature WoW has. But it needs to launch with a small about of critical bugs, it needs to have fully featured PVE and PVP conent, it needs to be polished. This is NOT too much to ask today. We should not expect half assed MMO's. I've been playing Guild Wars 2 lately on the weekend events. It's polished already, hardly any bugs from what i've seen, it has a ton of features which are easily accessible. It's going in a great direction. Expect high quality.

@SDSkarface GW2 is 100% MMO and totally persistent. Learn what you're talking about before opening your mouth in future. The rest of your post is also stupid. Free to play = Failure? League of Legends is all i have to say.
