I know my 3770k drives me nuts because it's outdated and windows 10 doesn't play nice with it. I had to reformat just to install the November update. DPC latency in windows 10 sucks because the driver support sucks.

Been thinking long and hard about going back to 7.

I think I will wait till the next CPU after skylake, to maybe upgrade and then sell my old PC... to make up the cost of the new build. Fresh start is always nice.

If you don't need anything on the drive... Just install 10 on the new drive, using the same PC... It will automatically know your PC. Since your pc hard ware info is saved to MS servers.

I exclusively build i7 systems for people. There was ever 1 exception (my friend) who wanted to save money, has now built 3 computers over a 5-6 year period... Because he "didn't need the best". 2 i5's later he is an i7 user.

Maybe he learned his lesson. :P

Games graphics are the best their is at max setting (which I play at)... But a lot of the map lay outs totally suck, the tiny amount of weapons suck, that panorama thing sucks and other things suck.

Feels like they rushed a bunch of maps/modes out the door, with slim pickings... To get more game you have to pay another $50.

I got it for $45 and even then I don't feel like I got something that had value. I can see myself quitting after maybe 200-300 games.

So consoles will finally do 1080p at 60 FPS now with slightly better graphics. 2018 lol...

They need to invest that money into a new engine and better programmers.

Good thing I put DDR4 3000 (CAS 15) in all the new Skylake builds I do.

I'm running 1866 DDR3 with CAS 9 latency (bought it over 3 years ago)... I do pretty good with this future proofing.

Good thing I don't feed Activision my money. Stopped years ago.

On the other hand people thought I was crazy telling them to get 16 GB of RAM. Now look :P.

In about 2-3 years I'll start recommending 32 GB.
