So which brand are you using? Been with Ducky for close to a year, by far the best keyboards (tried the Ducky legend/blue switch, Ducky Shine 3/brown switch and Ducky Shine 3/red switch) i've had.

Periboard 410, swapped from a cherry mx red to a mini chiclet keyboard. Made a few friends as well, they were using mechanical keyboards before.

That desk room + quietness + faster actuation.

Worth looking into if you want to try something different.

Corsair K70 with Cherry Reds.
It's a pretty solid keyboard. Before this I had a Steelseries(don't remember the exact model.) I prefer this keyboard in general, although I miss the custom LED's I was able to set up on my old device.

Logitech G710+. It uses the Cherry MX Brown switches. I really like it. No issues.

I am using a Microsoft digital media pro, I bought it in 2005 and I am still using it. I haven't found a reason to get rid of it.

K350 Logitech Wireless Keyboard and a G700s Wireless/Wired mouse. I used to use the Microsoft Natural Keyboard because I loved the feel but my current setup doesn't work well with wired peripherals.

Isn't Corsair kinda overpriced for what's offered?

@silversix_: I don't thinks so. Some may I suppose. Aluminum chassis, back-lit keys (with a lot of options) and mechanical switches. It's pretty much everything I want and nothing I don't. Just my opinion.

Everyone is trying to price thru the roof now with all that RGB LED bs which I think its just fancy crap you dont need.

I am still rocking a Corsair K60 - Cherry MX Reds from 2011 and its unbreakable. - Doesn't have any backlighting and I dont need it either. I never look down at my kb.

Not really. This particular board doesn't have masses of features but at the time of purchase it was a good price for a bulletproof mechanical keyboard with red leds.

...and it was a gift.

I've been using a Quickfire Rapid Red for about 4 years, no complaints.... If I get another keyboard it will probably be the same one or the full size model of it, perhaps a different switch type.

Agreed... Most of my keys are white with white letters even, who looks at their keyboard enough to need it lit up? Seems like more of a distraction than anything else.

I tried the K60 before I got my current board and had to return it, the keys seemed small or something, just not right... I don't know.

I used to use a Logitech Dinovo, not chiclet keys but it had those really flat laptop style keys. I liked it quite a lot really, May have to bust it out to see how it feels after so many years on a mechanical.

I really like having my full keyboard (with numpad) I can use all those numpad keys for different binds / hotkeys.

I'm using a Microsoft Natural Elite PS/2 (white) keyboard. I have yet to find another keyboard that feels as comfortable as this one does.

The model was discontinued, so buying a brand new one - easily $100-150 or more (if you can find one). The used ones, they tend to be yellowed, but work. I picked up a spare used one to bring to my work. The crappy Dell keyboard I currently use at work blows.

I've tried other ergonomic keyboards, but they tend to pale in comparison to the Natural Elite models.

Labtec, apparently. Something I bought like 7 years ago for about 10 bucks. Works like a charm still.

Logitech K800. Got it two years ago for $70. Needed it for the illuminated keys--I'm usually in a dark room, using my computer in the dark.

I have a Saitek Executive keyboard for my PC. I've had it for about 5 years now. Keys have a nice solid feel to them, it has a nice adjustable blue back-light, as well as on on-board keys for sound control. No complaints on my part. Simple, yet elegant and functional. Very happy with this keyboard.

Corsair K70 RGB. Cherry MX Red.

Wasn't the easiest to learn to type with. Also, the plastic keys touching the aluminum frame feels weird compared to plastic against plastic.
