This problem just started to occur this mourning. I was playing World of Warcraft and periodically I would get a really bad framerate drop to maybe 10fps for about 2 minutes and then it would go back to normal for about 5 minutes and then drop again. I thought it was the server so tried cs:s but it happened there too. I never had this problem before. I can play all these games on high with no problem. I tried restarting and doing a system restore to 2 days ago but that didn't do anything. I installed the latest drivers (forgot to install them when i got my comp back) and it still didn't fix anything. I dont know what else to do.

Do you think a 420w supply would do alright? I dont mind upgrading but would it be fine to run for a week or two?

It isn't my speakers. I tried two speakers, and a headset and nothing. I just got this back from being fixed and replaced the mobo along with other parts so im convinced it has to be software related. I have Realtek 97. I tried downloading the latest drivers off the website and still nothing. I checked the volume control in windows and it is fine. I check my settings for realtek and nothing. Anyone know what else i can check?
