Hi guys,
I really need some help here. Basically, I don't know the e-mail address or password gamertag is registered to. My xbox has been banned and I am going to buy a new xbox. But, I have a 120gb that was on the xbox when it was banned and I was wondering is the content on it ok to transfer to my new xbox? If not, I'll probably have to make a new profile (Grrr 43,000G gone).
So, can I use my transfer cable to move the content from my 120gb hard drive to my new 250gb slim??
Thanks alot!
Hi guys,
Yesterday, I tried updating my xbox using a game disc as I don't have xbox live. I haven't been on my xbox in ages so I think this was one of the updates from quite a while ago (July?). Anyway, I tried updating and then it just said 'Can't read disc' but, instead of letting me go back to the dashboard or anything like that, It's just stuck on the same screen. I've tried unplugging everything and restarting the xbox but nothing seems to help. When I start it up it just apperas on the same screen. I tried downloading the update from a burnt disc and that also said 'Update failed'. I did speak to someone on xbox chat on the website but all they said was to send it in to get repaired but they said it would cost about £80 so I would rather just buy a new xbox but before I do I'm just wondering is there anything I can try to fix it before going out and spending £100 on a new xbox?
Thanks alot.
