PC is the cheapest platform to play games and by a big margin. Seriously PC has everything, hardcore games and casual games, cheaper games plus you get more mileage out of games cause of mods etc. PC also has much better online capability and not to mention thousands of FREE games you can play online on website such as miniclips.

PC is the ultimate platform and consoles are becoming more and more like PC, only they are 10 years behind. Consoles are finally sorting out their online and are trying to bring user created content to games but PC had all of them since the stone age lol. Not to mention you can use the PC for everything, work, play, watch movies etc.

You can only be called a true gamer if you own a PC IMO.

What's with you PC gamers? It's like you think you're a superior race of people or something. Give it a damn rest, you're not better than anyone.

You guys claiming The Witcher is the only "true RPG" on the list and blaming consoles for "ruining RPGs" should take a look at that.

PC gamers are such elitist pricks and look no further than this thread for the proof.

On topic, no, I wouldn't. PC gaming isn't what it used to be. Worthwhile PC exclusives are a rarity nowadays. The only thing it has over consoles is MMO and RTS. I've never been much into RTS and after three years of WoW, I couldn't see myself ever playing another MMO. Giving up consoles would mean giving up sports games, racing games, fighting games, platformers, music games, and great exclusives such as Halo and GoW. I don't see it as being worth it for me personally.

i used to think it was boring too. but then i replayed it, did a lot of the sidequests, mixed up my biotics, and it became my second favorite WRPG of this gen right behind Fallout 3. also TC, i doubt you've even played it.

LeGoofyGoober

you doubt he's played it, why? because it's impossible that anyone who's play the game could possibly dislike it? i can easily see why someone might think ME is boring.

If you're 3 hours into it and still don't find it even slightly fun, stop playing. It's not for you.

[QUOTE="kage_53"] Oblivion is also an action adventure game.Paladin_King

no. oblivion definitely has enough RPG elements to be considered an RPG. fable 2 doesn't.

You do realize that your argument is entirely subjective. Where is the line that determines when a game has "enough" RPG elements to be considered an RPG? It's a personal preference. Someone else could realistically make the argument that the only RPG possible is a game that follows a strict turn-based system. Anything else is action-adventure.

personal preference has nothing to do with whether or not a game is an RPG. mass effect and fable 2 have very light RPG elements, oblivion and to a lesser extent, fallout 3, have heavy RPG elements. if mass effect is an RPG, then so is bioshock. just because a game has a few RPG elements doesn't make it an RPG.

mass effect is a third person shooter, fable 2 is an action adventure... so out of the remaining 3, oblivion.

it'd be nice for people who don't have a computer. i could've saved myself $600 on this new laptop if my 360 could surf the net.

CNUrGames

But can you imagine how incredibly slow and jankity it would probably be? Spending the extra money on a computer is well worth it in the long run. What if the browser was tied to XBL and XBL went down? Then you can't get on the internet. Plus you can use that laptop anywhere instead of being tied to your TV.

you mean slow because you'd be using analog sticks instead of a mouse, right? well, yeah, i could see that being a pain.

but xbl doesn't down go down often enough for that to be a problem.

agreed, portability is definitely a plus, but that's sort of irrelevant here.
