The civilization series pretty much comes out on top. I remember I played the original Civ for SNES like a crack addict. That game was so good. Civ3 also killed a lot of my time. Civ4 is super addictive. All those games have a permanent place on my hard drive or in my collection.

Nothing else compares. Nothing. Every aspect of this game is brilliant. From the story to the visuals to the dialogue to the character development. Nothing comes close to the greatness of this game. The most recent RPG that actually holds any candle to it is NWN2: Mask of the Betrayer.

Go out on a limb here and say it's the one with an installed system base of 100+ million.

[QUOTE="DrinkDuff"]So basically you think that MS and Nintendo are just going to sit idly by and watch the PS3 finally blossom? I don't think so. MS is also laying the groundworks for new franchises.Pariah_001

Not really no. Microsoft has Halo. That's it.

For everything else, they just bought out the store as much as they could. Microsoft didn't commission Gears or Mass Effect or own the studios that made those games; they just purchased the rights.

Sony, on the other hand, is actually building a first party cluster of franchises. So far it has been hit and miss, but it's is still being constructed--Which is more than what can be said for Microsoft.

Purchasing the rights to franchises and their eventual sequals doesn't count for some reason?

Sure thing buddy.

See, you'd THINK so, but sadly the harsh reality is the PS3 is sitting away selling like week old donuts.

No, because he prefers Crysis over TF2.

It wouldn't.

Ever.

There is no realistic, remotely plausible situation that would lead a Dreamcast victory in any shape or form.

Agreed, but TF2 is pretty awful anyways. I'm actually loving the multiplayer in Crysis, despite a lot of hate for it.BioShockOwnz

So basically you have a terrible taste for video games.
