Kojima's statement regarding the state of video games is unusually ignorant. Yes, this is just a publicity move. However, to say that video games haven't evolved from "alien-killing" over the past 25 years is plain wrong.
I feel the same way, but for a for a different reason. If you have a setting worth exploring, sometimes it seems that the potential of that setting is squandered when your only method of interacting with it is via shooting at things. The first person perspective has a lot of untapped potential (that is well within the capabilities of our current technology, no less).
It's a shame the sentiment behind this article will be lost upon most of its readers, but very well done. Just scrolling down a bit, @Decessus really hit the nail on the head.

Not a fan of the camera. The movement is headed in the right direction, but it looks a little awkward. Either way, now that Arkham City has set precedent, a good SpiderMan game should be in the cards. Just modify the grappling hook->glide mechanic and you really can't go wrong.
This is probably more personal than a fundamental flaw of Brawl, but I hated the physics. Melee's pace and ease of movement was so spot on, and it was the entire reason why I got into it in the first place. If there is an option where we can use the new characters with Melee-like physics, then this would be an auto-purchase for me.
If we're not getting at least 1GB of DDR5 video memory on the next consoles, then it probably won't be worthwhile. Either way, this is about that time in a console's lifespan where developers are exceedingly comfortable with the architecture, and really begin to show their creative side. I want to see this generation's Okami, RE4 and Shadow of the Colossus.
