Hello and good evening to you all.

I've been for the last few hours, been trying to download some DLC with a card I got for Christmas. The first file went fine, though a little slow. The rest of the files are doing odd things though. They download part of the file, then switch to pending and move to the next file. 60%, 32%, 2%, 4%, and the current file its on is at 17% and its stalled out as well.

Is anyone else having issues downloading from the server right now?

Alright, here is the situation.

I've got 2 x-box 360's. I want both online. I run them to the router, wired. If one X-box is connected, the other one, and the PC, can't connect. If the PC is connected, neither Xbox can connect.

Is there a settings option I'm missing. Its a Linkys router. It works as long as only 1 thing is connected, never more than one.

Advice?

The only problem with trying to get this resolved is that there is no proof that the employee stole the game. If he doesn't have it, and you call the police, then things get messy.

Talking to a manager won't do much good for one reason. You left the store with the item. EB/GameStop have policy, or most do, that if it leaves the store, whatever condition it is in is no longer their concern. This got stated to me and my cousin when he purchased a used 360 that started screwing up with the DVD drive that night. Upon return, the seal has been warped which had been noted when we bought it. However, because we left the store with it, it was no longer their responsibility. Again, you also don't have proof that the employee did anything wrong.

I only shop EB/Gamestop when I have to. There are certain titles that they get which no one else does. That is the ONLY time. I don't like being pestered about preordering items or buying things used. I also have had countless horrible experiences in all the local stores (GA/TN). I've been told they were closed while standing in line waiting to pay just a moment after they rang the person infront of me up. I've been completely ignored when making a purchase and had several things tacked on despite my protest and then been kicked out BECAUSE of my protest over the same issue. Apparently, its alright to not listen to the customer, but when the customer argues that he didn't ask for that, he is causing a scene and running off the other customers. The list goes on and on.

There is no remake, and there won't be a remake.

The fans screaming for it seem to forget one key element. Most of the members who worked on the original work for different companies currently (Mystwalker mostly). Considering the game's mastermind no long is part of SquareEnix, it would be impossible to do a direct remake as its his. The name isn't, the story is.

Why do you think they've done sequels and prequels? Because they can't touch the original material.

Besides, why do you want a 7 remake? So they can flash it up and remove any of the stuff that made it fun? So they can continue to remove the character qualities for fan service? (I'm looking at you Advent Children)

If they do remakes, remake some of the older games. V and VI come to mind, as well as Chrono Trigger. However, I'm not sure if I want them remade. I keep seeing what Nomura did to KHII and I'm not sure if I can handle another flashy "press triangle to win" game.

No, The original only had Nights of the Nine with a stand alone of Shimering Isles.

There is a PS3 GOTY Edition, because I own it.

There is no other info or news anywhere of this. Best Buy might not be selling them anymore, but if this was going to happening it would be everywhere.

Depending on the store, they have sales numbers of consoles to meet. Its not a fanboy thing. Corperate tells them what to push, they have to push it. A former manager even told me that they are encouraged to lie because once the sale is made, thats it. GameStop doesn't care about its customers. Its cares about is money. Why do you think they give you $5 trade for a game they are going to sell for that less than retail?

Come MGS4, they will be pushing PS3s.

you have to trust me i played mgs2 and i feel like i wanna broke the disc right now, thats how horrible the mgs is. jojo198

Wow. An Xbox fanboy seems angry that he STILL isn't getting MGS4. Sorry to tell you, but all of the MGS are great games. I play through them at least once a year. When one comes out, I can't tell you how many times I beat it before it gets shelved. The storyline is the main selling point. Always is. The guy (jojo198) doesn't know proper english.

Its still a new technology. When DVD came out, it was crazy expensive. Anyone remember $40 DVD discs that were just a movie and MAYBE a trailer?

Fact is Blue-Ray's are outselling HD-DVD. Blue-Ray's space is what is going to allow it to push forward.

I don't care much for the movie format just yet though. Given time, when I can get a HDTV, then I might consider it.

Besides, PS3 is right on target of where it should be.  Now that there is ACTUALLY software flow, things should begin to pick up even more.  Its already sold a Million units.  Its not doing bad.  Its hard to say Microsoft is in 1st right now because they have a year head start.

Microsoft is making a HUGE mistake with Zeypher.  A $479? upgrade that only consists of HDMI cables, a bigger harddrive, and a fresh coat of paint?  Where is the Wireless internet support?  Where is the HD-DVD support for when the DVD discs start running out of room?  Where is the improved backwards compatability?  Better processor?  Better cooling system?  My opinion is that THIS will be the nail that turns the tide.   To me, a 360 owner, this is a BAD move.  It screams fear to me.
