i liked Jedi Academy better because it was easier and you could select your own force power and later in the game you can change your lightsaberblangenakker
In the Multiplayer of Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Outcast, you can exactly the same.. it's not hard at all! :P

@dakan45 I kinda said it for fun, without thinking. Sooooo, I'm sorry! :P And yeah, Kyle Katarn somehow felt like a typical jedi dude.. atleast I enjoyed playing him! ;) @Yagr_Zero I think the XBOX and GameCube versions are both the same, and I know that the XBOX version does not have an extra level.

One of my favorite games. Nothing beat the SP when you slowed down time with the time cheat then went around in 3rd person rolling to dodge bullets and cutting off arms and heads.Legolas_Katarn
Judging your profile name makes you look like a dedicated fan! :P Kyle Katarn was the main character. :D

Nice game, it would have been amazing if there was not so much searching and puzzles in the levels and the stormtroopers didnt moved in an annoying way that i couldnt hit them.

I have heard that cube version has one additional mission. Is that true?

I loved Jedi Outcast (played on the PC). I didn't join the online coummunity until Jedi Academy. That was a blast.

I did some research by Google'ing the game, but I couldn't find any information regarding an extra level. Also GameSpot doesn't say anything about an extra level, here's the link: E3 2002: Jedi Outcast coming to GameCube, Xbox

[QUOTE="koospetoors"]I still play it from time to time, hell, I even remember that nice cheat code that allows you to cut people up with a lightsaber (g_saberrealisticcombat 1) The multi-player was the best, I loved dueling against my friends in a lightsaber only match. I hope Lucasarts makes another Jedi Knight.

Haha yeah, both "g_saberRealisticCombat 1" and "g_dismemberment 1" are awesome! :P If LucasArts completely revised the graphics and added new levels, I would be more than satisfied. The gameplay doesn't need a change, it's perfect like it is now. ;)

@everyone After finishing the Singleplayer you guys should definitely play this game for it's superb Multiplayer. I personally find that the most interesting aspect of the whole game! :) There are several patches for the game already but I recommend everyone to stay with the default version, v1.02.

If you are new to this game, there's a player from v1.02 that made tutorials watchable via YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/user/Tvpath

Back in the days, when I was a young kid and still played Duke Nukem 3D, I found the final boss have a disgusting look. :P

Much later down the road, and after Jedi Academy. But any self-respecting Star Wars fan who likes video games "should" play it, it is an outstanding example of quality game design. After playing Jedi Outcast, Academy felt dull in comparison.

Exactly, couldn't have said it any better! :D Academy has locked moves, which Jedi Outcast doesn't have in the first version. (v1.02)
