A good game like Final Fantasy Versus 13 or KH3 with DEPTHS that should be released as soon as possible will probably save the company. I will not forgive SE forever in my life if they go bankrupt before they release these 2 titles!
Is it just me or Tidus just got uglier?! They better squish in something new to make this remake title worth a buy.
While I appreciate they are doing alot of remake to replenish the old tiltes' good times ( or attract new younger fans ). But isn't this taking too long?!
Let's see. 10 years approximately for a title's remake. And 1 year for 2 remakes to be released. So there is still alot to be made, KH 2.5, FF 7, 8, 9, 12. So we can say Versus13 or KH3 will be released on 2016? Man....
I don't think there is anything wrong with how Atlus handling these 2 persona characters. The whole article sounds much like overreacting to me.
I mean, there has no actual solid evidences in game that both of them are truly Gay or transsexual, they are just confused about themselves n feel insecure which leads to their weakness, so the Shadows would consume them ( much like most teenagers' problems, and stay true to the concept of shadow in Persona 4 ) If by any chances they are revealed as truly gay or transgender, it can disrupts the game balance really bad, like more specific topics to touch on, which leads to more conflicting dialogues and stuff. The moral behind these characters r just to have ourselves live our own lives, and do whatever we like without worrying about others' opinions. In short, have faith in yourself and do whatever u r most happy in.
You have to know Asia countries r very conservative ( Given the scenario featuring in Persona 4, an outskirt town, the matter is worse. ) So those 2 just somehow cannot enjoy doing things they like from youth, which somehow always represent other gender's trait ( Sewing can only be done by girls, detective n police stuff are only done by boys ). It's just a conflict uprising from culture and ethic and low self esteem. It actually has nothing to do with sexuality, Persona 4 only uses that reference to describe how teenagers see these problems more accurately, in Asia. ( I'm Asian so i know the culture. Men must be men, girls must be girls. n consider the team's history from 199x, it was still a very conservative age.)
Not to offense this article or what, still nicely written. But sometimes just don't let personal opinions cross too much with the story's origin. Especially by playing Japanese games, one way or another you r learning their ethics. not to criticize them.
Kingdom hearts 3 n Final Fantasy Versus 13 anyone? As much as they r most probably been announced in Japanese Game show at least give us some news... Too much actions n adventure already! Btw, The Last of Us looks fantastic! Sure will grab one.
@nicksonman of course its important! When u wanna replay some old good games but find ur old PS2 is broken n there is nowhere that sells it. Imagine it. It is really a turn down!
I basically dun care bout social updates or weather or news. I can always have a smartphone or laptop to check it ( I mean u wont just own a SINGLE GAMING CONSOLE for all purpose right? They r not portable Oo ) Pls give us something new. Gaming consoles wif more realistic feelings, more interactive gaming experience. Engines with lots of features, either graphic wise or gameplay wise. BIG games with completely new unique idea. Im getting tired of all open world or shooting games. n much more... Dun misinterpret hardcore gaming pls... Leave all these media entertainment stuff to others =)
