whether or not sex improves a game is missing the real point of this whole sex/video games controversy. sex might be completely gratuitous in a game and it would be absolutely no different than most of the hollywood trash released today. most sex scenes in movies offer no substance at all in terms of relationship or character development. producers just know that halle barry and matthew mcconaughey have ticket selling chests.

its one thing to be against sex in all media, but its hypocritical to be against sex in just video games. sadly, thats the case levelled by most critics of the media.

I think it's based on principle, if sex in a game is done in a good way.... In films you have some like "the accused" where men are raping a girl... I wouldnt want to be happy if a game let me do something like that in the game and would be quite appalled if a child was playing something like that.. as long as it's sexy but decent to the whole game... I think that sex in games like GTA with the hot coffee mod doesnt bother me but i could see why people would be offended by it because there is a difference between watching sex (in movies) and pushing buttons to simulate sex in a game. I think lionshead and Rockstar handle relationships and sex quite brillently because the brothels in fable and the hookers in GTA arent exactly showing you whats going on but you still get the idea.

Nifty_Shark
I laughed :), that was awesome.. I Liked the disney games Aladdin both megadrive (shiny) and Snes (capcom) versions, the lion king, hercules... infact most of the old school Disney games rocked they gone abit down hill compared to how they use to be (excluding kingdom hearts) I know most of you will disagree but I have played Ben 10 and I know it's not amazing but i just need to play it lol.

Dont come onto this forums and say you dont think you got the motivation to play twilight princess (im assuming but phantom hourglass is also awesome)

Man I played Zelda on the Wii got 30 hours in, was showing the beginning off to my mate and deleted my save file but straight away went back into it abit faster then the first playthrough but still got back and went on to complete it, please find the motivation to play through. I find that I tend to play through most of the games I get because I know they are good games worth playing, I venture into something new if I hear something great about it from other people like world of goo and plants vs zombies... but I think im well informed when it comes to making my choices that I have good games which wont give me the cant be bothered appeal... hell ill even go back to my old games and play through them over again I compelted devil may cry 4 on normal but started playing on dark knight and got really into it all over again..I could easily get back into WoW but I know that game is the worst thing I have ever sold my soul for (yes I got refunds for the other dark deeds commited for my soul)

whoa, hold the horses here mate.. Fallout 3 is an amazing experiance to play, it's still one of the most engaging games to play and with it's 4th downloadable content coming soon you shouldnt be too quick to dismiss it...the witcher is average compared to the sweat and blood that has given fallout 3 life. yeah it has bugs and glitches in it but it doesnt break the game to the point where you can't enjoy it. I would also just get the orange box as you get alot more then just team fortress 2.

PC games are sometimes optimized, Rockstar and Ubisoft use to care about PC gamers in the past but looking at GTA4 and Assassins Creed you can see that these games require alot from modern computers.... prototype is another game that isnt optimized, My machine is 4 years old and is capable of running Left 4 dead, Bioshock, Fallout 3,Race driver Grid, Devil may cry 4 and it also got a C ranking on Street fighter IV. I name these titles because my CPU is a single core athlon 64 and even though i cant max out the graphics with some of them I can still have a pretty good experiance playing without too much eye candy loss.

What really annoys me is that my machine could probably play all this generation of games if the devs spent abit more time optimizing it for medium users... we aint gonna get no help from microsoft with this issue... we got halo 2 for one of it's first direct x 10 titles, the other lazy fact i want to point out is that most games that are on the 360 require the same pad and you can't even set up your own controller. Where capcom make us wait for titles abit longer then console versions they at least have the decency to make sure that 75% of the PC market can play, I also think Sega do a good job with crossing console games over as well.

I can now back that up, with my system specs as mentioned above.. I got a C ranking on the benchmark with medium/high settings. If I can enjoy resident evil 5 on this machine i will be very very happy to the point that even now I must admit capcom to be one of the best non PC companies to actually convert a title without the massive requirements.

I think the people who make this mod need to work a little on compression... 10GB is a massive amount for one download.

Downloading the benchmark test now...I was shocked that devil may cry 4 on Direct x9 ran quite smooth on my 4 year old system with settings set to high, so im wondering if this will be playable too. AMD Athlon 64 3500XP 1GB of Ram X1950 pro. Don't worry, im gonna be building my new Rig sometime this year....but I have been quite happy with the long serving machine that I have had hours of enjoyment out of.... I just hope my new one will last about 8 years now :)
