I had completed it twice by sunday.. it's a good experience to play and get into but dont expect the thrills to last forever.. I don't think it was ever really scary, I wasnt afraid because i knew exactly how to deal with the taken which are really quite simple creatures to handle.. Nightmare mode wasnt even hard as I managed to get the gunless wonder achievement (get to caldron lake in episode 6 without firing a single shot) the game is roughly 5 to 6 hours but thats if your just rushing through it. 7 to 9 hours if you do some exploring... the hidden items add the extra replay value but after my 2nd playthrough im missing about 10 things out of 264 (100 coffee thermos, 109 manuscript pages, 25 sign locations, 30 hidden containers) there are TV and radio stations to find but you will probably have them all in the first playthrough as they are simple to not miss. was alan wake worth the wait... not really, I played through the game and wondered how this took 6 years to produce because I have seen better titles with half of the development time. You should buy it if you want something to enjoy, just dont expect it to be the amazing masterpeiece that it should have been.

A mint neo geo AES would set you back abit but metal slug for it can cost upto £1,000 and other Neo Geo games can vary in the hundreds mark.

Panzer Dragoon saga is also sought after and expensive, Castlevania Symphony of the night collectors edition on PS1 use to be quite expensive but im not sure of it's value with all the rereleases and Downloadable versions.. I remember buying 2 copies for £30 and selling them for £120 :)

can we just clarify is it three games released this year alone because a lot of people have put a couple of 2009 titles here :)

1) Bioshock 2

2) Alan wake

3) Mass effect 2

no perticular order but I thought these were the most games that really offered me some form of freedom, Final fantasy was too on rails to get into my list and super street fighter IV was good but not good enough to make it on the list.. red dead redemption im not sure about yet either :)

Yeah but they have just alienated me now... I have bought all my points directly off live and have made loads of purchases of DLC and avatar items... all my games are current and the elite wasnt exactly cheap... it's not the fact of the refund that bothers me.. it's the principle that your customer has made an honest mistake they can see that honest mistake on their computers so why not have friendly customer service and rule that as an exception.....I wouldnt dispute the refund if it was the only copy I had of the DLC, but now I have an extra version and i cant even do anything with it... To think that Im now prepared to trade in my xbox and get a playstation 3 all because of this disatisfaction.

Hello fellow gamers.

as you are aware assassins creed II DLC is 2 memory sequences consisiting of Bonfire of the vanities and the battle of forli on xbox live... note that bonfire of the vanities has 2 versions, one for the extra content from the special edition.. as a human error I have downloaded both versions of this DLC, I understand that no refunds can be given from microsoft but if this DLC was subcatgorized correctly this wouldnt have happened to me.. I decided to ring customer support at microsoft I understand that no refunds are allowed for DLC but I would think that they would see the error and understand my situation... when i finally got through to the first guy he asked for my name, in which i said "what my realname" then he said hello realname.. when he could not help me I asked to speak to someone else he justhuffed on the phone at me and got a supervisor. the supervisorunderstands my situation but still couldnt help... soi have just spent 360 points on thin air and furthermore had to buy more points from the site to get battle of forli because thatwas the oneI was trying to buy.

don't you think this is a joke? I dont mind not being refunded if i bought the thing once but i simply have a duplicate now which I cant even sell or give away to anyone.

What do you guys think?

Halo Reach is out in august right? Simple idea, alan wake will probably be worth the one playthrough as it's a single player experience only game... so just rent it because once you have completed it you might never want to go back to it... if you dont want to rent then simply buy it and trade it back in as soon as possible so you get more cash for it.

But I have had no problems in years... everything works just as the day i bought it. havent fried anything or lost any infomation from shutting down this way... windows doesnt even want to check the disks anymore. I get the "windows didnt turn off properly" display a few times, start up normaly and everything is back to working the way it is.

I don't think it's luck that nothing has happened to my machine that maybe too many people are paranoid about damaging computers. same thing about viruses as well, I have a firewall but not an anti-virus, I think the less informed people need these anti virus software that costs alot but personaly the only time your attacked these days is if you keep clicking ok and accept dodgy emails, websites and other files that you shouldnt be sayings yes too.

I know what your thinking that im an idiot but I do actually like my computer and take it apart /clean it out once a month..

Hello guys and gals.

I'm here to find out how many people actually close down there computers normaly. I have always held down the power button for 10 seconds and let it shut off, I always figure that if I had any problems myself could just correct them. When Im at other peoples computers who always turn them off by shutting down windows and wait until the machines shuts down normaly, they sometimes give me a negative or worried look when the computer is turned off my usual way.. Now Personaly I have never had a problem arise from my machine when I do this in the last 3 years so I assume nothing could happen or if anything does I have the knowledge to correct the mistakes.

So how do you guys do it?

I'm going to say world of warcraft... not because blizzard haven't made any attempt to humour us over the years but the simple fact that I have laughed enough times in the game due to other players.

Not a PC title but im sure some of you can aggree that conkers bad fur day was funny :)
