First off, I am all for people posting quotes, but try to link them to the discussion at hand or at least to something that is somewhat similar.

Secondly, luckily the quote is not unknown, it originates in the bible and is often refereed to as the golden rule.

Thirdly, thank you for contributing. As for the quote itself, it is a great quote.

In terms of the second quote regarding the beauty of a man's silence, one could say that we like listeners and that we should do unto others (listen) as we would want them to do unto us (listen when we talk) so inadvertently ou provided a very good quote that is realtive to discussion, great job :)

Well as I've said via private messaging, this union is all about trying to get better. It really doesn't matter how much or how little you improve, but that you are making an effort to do so. I welcome you to this union and hope that you contribute for a long time.

In Loving Memory

His selfless life has leaned towards Sainthood,
yet what happened to my friend was not that good;
He was one of the victims in a car bomb killing eight,
And now for us up in Heaven does he wait.

[spoiler] It is an epitaph (A brief poem inscribed on a tombstone in memory of a deceased person) for my friend Justin B. Schmidt who passed on April 29th, 2004 when he was killed alongside seven other men in a carbomb in Bagdahd. He served in the United States Army. May he rest in peace. [/spoiler]
